About the role
Festo Corporation is a leading supplier of automation technology and industrial training. As a Global Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in growing and developing new and existing customer relationships, contributing to Festo's market position and financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed mid-range account strategies in agreement with the customer.
- Build-up and manage account and project teams, including operational management of specialists engaged on customer projects.
- Plan activities necessary to achieve sales objectives.
- Identify and win projects based on excellent automation competence.
- Collaborate internationally.
- Achieve development milestones with designated customers.
- Ensure satisfactory levels of customer satisfaction with designated customers.
- Perform sales meetings with customers to identify needs and gain customer acceptance of Festo's products and solutions.
- Understand and communicate the organizational structure of the customer, building relationships with key decision makers and understanding their decision-making processes and requirements.
- Support the definition and marketing of customer solutions as input for the product development process.
- Initiate and lead process improvements to develop key accounts in a more efficient and effective way, such as through capacity planning in SAP.
Requirements
- University Degree (engineering and/or business studies; electrical engineering advantageous)
- Fluent language skills in English
- Knowledge of MS-Office and CRM-tools
- 5 years’ external experience
- Special experience in Management of sales processes, Key Account management
- Experience in project management methods is advantageous
- Experience in industrial B2B sales
- Communication and negotiating skills
- Winning complex sales

Pay
The annual base pay range for this role is between $158,000-$185,000.
