Global Human Resources Director
Position Summary
The Global Human Resources Director leads the Company's human resources function and partners with executive leadership to support business objectives across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The role involves strategic guidance, oversight of HR operations, talent management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and HR staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute HR priorities aligned with business objectives.
Lead and supervise the HR team, providing coaching, direction, and professional development.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and workforce planning.
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
Administer and periodically review compensation, incentive, and benefits programs; manage relationships with brokers, PEO/ASO providers, and other HR vendors.
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and HR policies across all operating jurisdictions, coordinating with external counsel and local advisors as appropriate.
Oversee leave administration, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation coordination, and HR policy administration.
Direct HRIS, payroll coordination, personnel records, HR reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Monitor key HR metrics, identify trends, and recommend practical improvements to leadership.
Support mergers, organizational changes, and other strategic initiatives affecting the workforce.
Help preserve and strengthen the Company's culture through effective communication, employee engagement, and leadership support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master's degree and/or SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred.
10+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
Experience supporting multi-state employment matters; international HR experience preferred.
Knowledge of employee relations, investigations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, and employment law.
