About the Role
As the Global HR Business Director, you'll play a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the human resources business partner strategy on a global scale. This position plays a vital role in driving the people agenda of the organization, collaborating closely with senior leadership, and overseeing a team of HR Business Partners to support the diverse and dynamic needs of our workforce worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the HR business partner strategy to align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Ensure that HR business partners are strategic advisors to business leaders to support the organization's growth and success.
- Lead HR Business Partners, fostering their professional development and ensuring they are aligned with the organization's values and vision. Provide guidance and support to direct reports in their efforts to enhance organizational performance and create a high-performance culture. Act as a trusted advisor and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach while minimizing organizational risk. Stay current with labor laws and employment regulations in different regions and ensure that HR practices remain compliant.
- Help deliver global talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
- Lead and support change initiatives by providing expertise in change management, organizational development, and HR strategies that facilitate successful transitions.
- Drive diversity and inclusion efforts to foster an inclusive and diverse workforce, contributing to an innovative and collaborative work environment.
- Use HR analytics and data to drive decision-making processes, identify trends, and implement improvements in HR practices and policies.
- Champion a culture of trust and partnership, nurturing a collaborative environment where HR is seen as a strategic partner.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-moving, high-growth, global company.
- Proven experience as an HR leader, with a strong focus on global HRBP roles.
- Exceptional understanding of global employment law.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing HR teams.
- Experience coaching and guiding teammates and colleagues to form sound approaches and deliver effective results.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A keen sense of commercial awareness.
- The ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
- In-depth knowledge of HR operations.
- A passion for building trust and lasting relationships.
