About the role

We’re looking for a highly operational and strategic Global Head of HR to build and scale Higgsfield’s global People function during a period of hypergrowth. This role will sit at the center of leadership, recruiting, operations, legal, and organizational strategy, helping establish the systems, processes, and talent infrastructure required to scale a world-class AI company globally. You will be responsible for both hands-on execution and long-term organizational development across recruiting, people operations, compensation, performance management, compliance, organizational design, and workforce planning. We are looking for someone who is highly execution-oriented, systems-minded, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. This role will require close partnership with founders and senior leadership across both the US and international teams.

Responsibilities

Global People Operations & Organizational Design

  • Build and lead Higgsfield’s global HR function across recruiting, people operations, compensation, compliance, performance management, and employee experience.
  • Partner directly with founders and leadership to shape organizational structure, workforce planning, hiring strategy, and long-term talent initiatives.
  • Design and implement scalable global HR systems, workflows, and operational processes to support rapid international growth.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives, including team structure, leveling frameworks, performance management, and leadership support.
  • Build scalable onboarding, employee development, and retention programs designed for a high-performance environment.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and scaling challenges.

Recruiting & Talent Strategy

  • Own and evolve the company’s recruiting function, ensuring Higgsfield continues to attract and close exceptional talent across engineering, AI research, product, growth, content operations, G&A, and other critical business functions.
  • Develop recruiting infrastructure, hiring processes, and employer branding initiatives that support hiring across highly competitive global talent markets.
  • Partner closely with leadership to identify hiring priorities, improve recruiting efficiency, and maintain a high talent bar across all functions.
  • Build scalable talent acquisition strategies across multiple geographies and organizational functions.

Compensation, Compliance & International Operations

  • Drive compensation, leveling, equity, and performance review processes aligned with company goals and market competitiveness.
  • Establish and maintain compliant employment frameworks across the US and international entities, partnering closely with Legal, Finance, and external advisors.
  • Oversee global HR operations including employment practices, workforce documentation, policies, reporting, and compliance processes.
  • Support relocation, immigration, and international workforce operations where applicable.
  • Drive operational excellence across HR systems, reporting, documentation, and workforce planning, with a strong emphasis on automation and scalability.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Proven experience leading and scaling People Operations and Recruiting functions at high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience building HR infrastructure and operational processes from early-stage through scale.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment practices, compensation structures, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Experience scaling international teams across multiple countries and functions.
  • Track record of recruiting and retaining top-tier talent in highly competitive markets.
  • Strong organizational design, workforce planning, and performance management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate directly with founders and executive leadership.
  • Highly operational mindset with the ability to work at both strategic and execution-focused levels.
  • Strong business judgment and comfort operating in fast-changing, ambiguous startup environments.
  • Experience managing international teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with broader business operations or operational scaling initiatives.
  • Experience supporting relocation, visa, and international mobility processes.
  • Experience implementing HR automation, systems integrations, and scalable reporting infrastructure.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000 - $265,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
