About the Role

Lead the company's global people strategy across the United States, United Kingdom, and India. Build scalable HR infrastructure, ensure multi-jurisdictional compliance, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. Additionally, lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across a multi-entity global organization spanning the U.S., UK, and India. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale HR infrastructure to support global operations.
  • Ensure compliance with international employment laws and workforce regulations.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture across multiple regions.
  • Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational design.
  • Implement performance management, compensation, and employee engagement programs.
  • Manage HR governance, payroll, and HR systems.
  • Lead core accounting operations and maintain the general ledger for accurate financial reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage global close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual) across multiple entities.
  • Oversee internal controls, audit management, and financial compliance.
  • Build and scale accounting processes in growth-stage organizations.
  • Lead and manage accounting teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership with global responsibilities.
  • 10–15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations across U.S., India, and preferably Europe/UK.
  • Strong knowledge of international employment laws, compliance, and workforce regulations.
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations and scaling teams globally.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational design.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial consolidation.
  • Experience leading global close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual) across multiple entities.
  • Deep knowledge of internal controls, audit management, and financial compliance.
  • Experience managing multi-entity international accounting environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, or a relevant field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).
  • Ability to lead both strategically and operationally in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-cultural leadership skills.
  • Experience managing HR infrastructure, governance, payroll, and HR systems.
  • Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication skills with executive leadership and auditors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in distributed or remote-first organizations.
  • Background in technology, IT services, or offshore delivery organizations.
  • Familiarity with global payroll and workforce platforms such as Deel, Remote, or ADP.
  • Experience implementing HRIS platforms such as Workday or BambooHR.
  • Experience managing external HR vendors, EORs, and global recruiting partners.
  • Strong data-driven approach to HR analytics and reporting.
  • Experience building scalable HR processes across multiple international regions.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA.
  • Experience in startup, tech, telecom, or SaaS environments.
  • Experience with IFRS and US GAAP conversion processes.
  • International accounting exposure—especially supporting India and/or UK entities or teams.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar platforms).
  • Experience in companies scaling from ~50 to 250+ employees.
