Global Head of Expansion

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Global Head of Expansion to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This leader will own the strategy and execution behind new market expansion, with a focus on disciplined entry planning, operational readiness, and market performance. The role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities, launch new markets, and ensure each expansion aligns with the organization’s standards. It is a highly visible position that combines market analysis, operational leadership, and P&L accountability. The right candidate will help scale the business while building the leadership structure needed for long-term success.

Location: New York, NY — US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $200,000+ annually.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential expansion opportunities
• Develop frameworks for evaluating market demand and operational complexity
• Lead end-to-end market entry, ensuring alignment with brand standards
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful market launches
• Support US and UK Presidents in managing P&L and daily operations of new markets
• Act as the primary point of accountability for market performance
• Recruit and onboard leadership for new markets as they mature

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely related field
• 3 years of experience in a similar role or as a business management consultant
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for data presentation and analysis
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization
• Familiarity with Alteryx for data preparation and analysis
