Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global biostatistics strategy aligned with company growth objectives and evolving industry trends, including adaptive designs, real-world evidence, advanced analytics, and AI/ML applications.
- Own and manage the full P&L for the global Biostatistics function, including revenue growth, margin performance, forecasting, resource planning, and investment decisions.
- Partner closely with Business Development and Commercial teams to support proposals, bid defenses, client presentations, pricing strategies, and business expansion opportunities.
- Lead a global, multi-regional biostatistics organization, ensuring delivery excellence, operational scalability, workforce planning, quality standards, and performance management.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic client accounts and represent Novotech at industry conferences, advisory boards, and other external leadership forums.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry standards, including FDA, EMA, PMDA, and ICH guidelines, while maintaining inspection readiness and risk management oversight.
Qualifications
- PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 15+ years of progressive biostatistics experience within CROs, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading large, global, multi-site biostatistics teams and functional organizations.
- Proven track record of P&L ownership, revenue growth, financial accountability, and operational leadership.
- Significant executive or senior functional leadership experience with strong commercial and client-facing responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of clinical development, drug development, regulatory requirements, and global clinical trial operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen with the ability to influence executive and C-suite stakeholders.
Pay
Salary Range: $275,000 – $340,000/year (USD)
