About the role

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global EHS & Security Systems, this role plays a critical part in strengthening and sustaining the company’s global Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) framework. You will have direct responsibility for managing and continually improving global EHS standards and supporting compliance audits across multiple regions, helping ensure consistent adherence to regulatory and internal requirements worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop, implement, revalidate and support Momentive Global EHS Management System Standards.
  • Administer standard review process and maintain review cadence.
  • Manage Global EHS audit program. This includes performing audits, analysis of audit results, and creating visibility to and communications of these results.
  • Administration and review and continuous improvement of the audit program are also critical elements of responsibility.
  • Develop vision and strategy for both short-term and multiyear Information and Communications, including monthly Global EHS Learning and Improvement Review, and other key EHS communications.
  • Lead critical multi-functional Information systems development, deployment, and continuous improvement (Gensuite, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Support implementation and maintenance of digital solutions.
  • Mange EHS Training content to ensure it is reliably available to the global organization and can be effectively tracked.
  • Develop and deliver training to a global audience.
  • Track and communicate EHS metrics.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical/industrial environment.
  • EHS compliance and management systems experience.
  • 5+ years of EHS auditing experience.
  • Excellent communications skills with both internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to collaborate in a global organization.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adjust to changing priorities and make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, capable of working within globally diverse, cross-functional, internal and external teams across different time zones with ability to effectively influence others to action.
  • Unquestioned ethics and integrity, ability to work on confidential matters.
  • Strong Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lead EHS Auditor experience.
  • Quality Systems auditing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a matrix organization.
  • ISO 14001 lead auditor experience.
