About the role
AECOM is seeking a Global Account Executive in its Data Center and Technology Market Sector. This role involves managing relationships with large global technology clients, each with projected annual revenue between $30-$60 million across various AECOM sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a clear strategy to drive profitable growth of the account(s)
- Establish yourself as a visible, global leader who adds value and achieves successful outcomes aligned with clients' objectives
- Lead and direct global multidisciplinary teams, fostering all of AECOM's services
- Influence AECOM's leadership to align with client priorities
- Build and maintain senior and executive client relationships
- Work with regional leadership and project teams to anticipate and resolve issues, continuously improving project quality
- Pull together teams and solutions from across the global footprint to strengthen client relationships and achieve successful outcomes
- Raise AECOM's brand within the industry through thought leadership and conference speaking engagements
- Support the attraction and retention of client account management talent through mentoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field plus 12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent
- Proven experience developing relationships to drive growth
- Strong collaborator who thrives in a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience in data center development
- Self-motivated, strong leader with significant experience in a client-facing role
- Existing relationships with industry-leading hyperscalers, colocation companies, and/or developers
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work in ambiguity and lead by influence
- Experience working with multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel domestically and globally
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
