Global Category Manager - Facilities & MRO (Remote)

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global category strategies for Facilities and MRO
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to execute procurement strategies
• Manage supplier performance and ensure alignment with procurement strategies
• Ensure optimal supplier pricing, quality compliance, and responsiveness
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain risks
• Maintain industry intelligence on technology trends and pricing options
• Measure commodity performance and initiate corrective actions as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master of Science or MBA preferred
• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in procurement or category management
• Experience in global or multi-site manufacturing environments
• Commercial experience in indirect sourcing and/or facility services sourcing
• Experience managing high-dollar contracts and large spend portfolios
• Strong negotiating skills with a background in commercial contract terms
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change
