About the Role
We are seeking a Global Business Development Manager for Time and Frequency to lead the worldwide growth of our optical pumping cesium atomic clock portfolio across NMI, defense, data center, and emerging high-precision timing markets. This is a strategic and execution role responsible for expanding cesium adoption, driving high-value deals, and positioning cesium as a critical enabler of resilient, secure infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Global Market Development
- Define and execute the global go-to-market strategy for cesium-based timing solutions
- Identify and develop new business verticals:
- AI data centers
- Space and Satellite Systems
- Financial trading infrastructure
- Critical infrastructure resilience
- Defense & secure communications
- Strategic Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Position cesium clocks vs alternatives:
- GNSS-dependent timing
- Precision Time Protocol
- Rubidium and emerging quantum clocks
- Develop value-based messaging around:
- Holdover performance
- Network resiliency
- Security (anti-jamming / spoofing)
- Position cesium clocks vs alternatives:
- Customer Engagement & Deal Development
- Engage directly with:
- NMI and timing institutes
- Hyperscale’s (cloud & AI infrastructure)
- Defense agencies & integrators
- Engage directly with:
- Business Growth & Pipeline Ownership
- Own and deliver global revenue targets for cesium portfolio
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline across regions
- Drive partner ecosystem alignment (system integrators, vendors)
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with:
- Product management
- R&D teams
- Regional sales teams
- Translate market needs into product and roadmap inputs

Requirements
- 12 years of experience in:
- Time and Frequency
- Time dissemination technologies
- Defense / aerospace / critical infrastructure
- Strong understanding of:
- NMI infrastructure (Time scale, Atomic clocks (cesium, rubidium)
- Network synchronization (PTP, SyncE)
- GNSS-based timing architectures
- Proven track record in:
- Global business development
- Opening new markets / verticals
Preferred Qualifications
- NMI, Timing institutes
- Global Navigation Satellite System resilience strategies

- PhD in physics
