Global Billing Analyst

About the role

The Global Billing Analyst I supports the Billing Operations Team at Bandwidth, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely invoices and providing timely payment assistance. This role involves handling billing inquiries, analyzing invoices, and managing complex functions.

Responsibilities

• Solve common billing inquiries via telephone and ticketing system within established SLAs.
• Analyze global contracts, invoices, and billing detail records to assist with customer inquiries.
• Process invoice disputes and work directly with customers to correct issues.
• Collaborate with team and/or manager when necessary, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Support monthly revenue close cycle within established deadlines.
• Manage own time and follow instructions, utilizing available documentation to resolve issues.
• Communicate with customers, other team members, and leadership to solve issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Complete special projects involving telecommunications and network service data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service
• Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to focus, complete tasks accurately, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude necessary

Qualifications

• Experience in billing a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SQL/Snowflake database
