About the role
The Global Banking & Markets - Finance & Franchise Management team is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join the Equities Management team. The Equities Management team partners with Equities leadership to identify and assess strategic opportunities, drive initiatives across the business and client franchise, and help shape the practical application of AI, automation, and analytics to improve decision-making, operating efficiency, and commercial impact.
Candidates should be interested in solving complex business problems, joining an entrepreneurial team within a best-in-class firm, and playing a pivotal role in shaping Goldman Sachs’ forward strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans
- Identify opportunities to drive business process efficiencies
- Work successfully across diverse groups of cross-functional stakeholders
- Leverage data, AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, and data visualization to synthesize information and generate insights
- Streamline recurring processes
- Translate business problems into scalable solutions
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services, preferably related to Equities Sales & Trading
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and products
- Strong academic background with demonstrated interest in a diverse set of subject areas
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
