Glass Finisher

About the role

The Glass Finisher inspects, packs, labels, and prepares glass products for shipment while maintaining supplies and supporting smooth production in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick up glass, inspect, and pack in proper container.
• Occasionally scribe and knock out heel prior to packing.
• Remove carton from track, position in area, and place pallet on cart.
• Make up cartons and bulk containers as necessary.
• Replenish supply of carton products as required.
• Make up stencils as required and stencil cartons or bulk loads with proper identification.
• Aside heels and cullet to cullet hopper.
• Assist others in resolving production difficulties to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet physical demands: regularly stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• General language skills, math skills, and reasoning ability.
