About the role

As a GL Accountant, you will handle accounting activities related to maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks
• Handle depreciation using the straight-line method
• Prepare financial documents including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and budgets
• Ensure general ledger, taxes, and other financial data are accurate and up to date
• Close month-end accounting entries and reconcile balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Post to the general ledger and review variances to budget; forecast business changes
• Review variance explanation reports for accuracy
• Track accounts receivable and confirm proper payment recording
• Verify account balances for correctness
• Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• MRI system experience is a plus
• Proficiency in basic computer functions

Pay

$41/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
