You’ll be: Maintaining accurate and current Street Index Systems and Precinct Maps, incorporating changes from federal, state, county, and municipal actionsProviding information and support for redistricting and precinct changes as requiredImplementing new district boundaries into local GIS geography layersMaintaining precinct geographies using US Census Blocks, GIS mapping databases, and county GIS database layersAssisting Elections Coordinators with locating polling places and updating the Polling Place list with accurate directionsCollaborating with IS team members, vendors, and staff across the organizationAssisting in managing voter records to reflect changes in the Street Index SystemProviding geographic information and mapping services to internal departments, county officials, or the public as neededConducting land records research with county and state agencies to resolve errors and complete omissionsPreparing required reports and transmitting Sample Ballot shellsPerforming other related duties as assigned This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Bring 1–3 years of experience in GIS and data analysis (required)Possess strong knowledge of GIS software and its applicationsAre experienced with GIS mapping and database layersDemonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsThrive working independently as well as collaboratively within a teamAre able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment What happens next Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
