About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy GIS solutions
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS systems
- Perform system testing and debugging to ensure software quality
- Document project requirements, designs, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and other relevant GIS technologies
- Experience with GIS data analysis and visualization tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Experience with GIS data modeling and spatial analysis
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL
- Experience with web mapping services and APIs
- Understanding of GIS security and data protection practices
