About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement GIS solutions.
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GIS development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.
- Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
- Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with GIS data analysis and spatial modeling.
- Knowledge of geospatial databases and geospatial data structures.
- Understanding of GIS project lifecycle and workflow.
- Experience with GIS scripting languages and APIs.
Skills
- Proficiency in GIS software and tools.
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
