Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement GIS solutions.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GIS development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.
• Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
• Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS data analysis and spatial modeling.
• Knowledge of geospatial databases and geospatial data structures.
• Understanding of GIS project lifecycle and workflow.
• Experience with GIS scripting languages and APIs.

Skills

• Proficiency in GIS software and tools.
• Strong understanding of GIS concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
