About the role
Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geospatial technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS SDKs and related tools
- Collaborate with project managers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver high-quality GIS solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new GIS features and functionalities
- Perform software testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance
- Document code and provide technical support to end-users
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or related fields
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience with ArcGIS SDKs and related tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of geospatial concepts and principles
- Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization
- Understanding of GIS architecture and design patterns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
