About the role

This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS platform
- Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality GIS solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of GIS features and functionalities
- Perform testing and debugging of GIS applications
- Document and maintain GIS codebase
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development
- Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
- Strong understanding of geospatial concepts and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
Qualifications
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization tools
- Experience with cloud-based GIS services (e.g., ArcGIS Online)
- Experience with GIS scripting languages (e.g., Python)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay
We offer competitive compensation packages tailored to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The role is full-time and based in our headquarters in Redlands, California. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and training sessions.
