GIS Industry Solutions Specialist - Rail
Responsibilities
Aid Industry Managers in collaborating with marketing, sales, products, professional services, international distributors, education, and partner teams to effectively implement campaign tactics.
Regularly produce content such as webinars, customer success stories, eBooks, social media posts, blogs, and more to enhance brand awareness, drive demand, and foster community engagement.
Prepare for and manage logistics related to rail industry events like conferences, trade shows, seminars, webinars, and user group meetings. Engage personally with attendees and present findings.
Collaborate with marketing staff to develop, manage, and execute campaign tactics, ensuring clear internal communications and alignment with team goals.
Track campaign progress and work proactively with internal and external customers to ensure activities are moving forward smoothly.
Create and share content leveraging rail industry knowledge, research, and relationships, including presentations, StoryMaps, eBooks, blogs/articles, technical papers, web content, social media, press, and advertising.
Conduct thorough research, evaluation, and assist in strategic industry positioning, seeking validation from internal and external experts.
Build and maintain deep GIS domain expertise to support internal requests, partner engagements, and customer meetings.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in a transportation discipline focused on the Rail market.
Knowledge of GIS and its application within the Rail Industry.
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks with varying priorities.
Quick learner with a positive attitude and strong decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Willingness and ability to travel.

- Base Salary Range: $96,096 USD - $153,296 USD. Compensation decisions consider various factors including skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
