About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced geospatial technologies to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain geospatial software applications using ArcGIS and related tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements
  • Perform software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality outputs
  • Document project specifications and procedures for future reference

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
  • Knowledge of geospatial data structures and algorithms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization
  • Understanding of geospatial database management systems
  • Knowledge of web mapping technologies
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

  • Project management and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
