About the Opportunity: The GIS Analyst plays a critical role in delivering geospatial strategies and solutions that support key projects across multiple energy-related sectors. This position contributes by collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to design and implement effective GIS approaches that drive project success. The role involves managing small to mid-sized projects and supporting larger initiatives, providing technical leadership, and innovating how spatial data is utilized. The position is location-flexible with a preference for candidates near specific U.S. hub offices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement geospatial strategies aligned with client goals
• Lead GIS efforts on small to mid-sized projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget
• Contribute technically to large, multi-year projects
• Innovate methods for spatial data collection, management, visualization, and sharing
• Create clear and compelling cartographic products, both static and interactive
• Develop and manage GIS solutions using Esri applications such as Dashboards, Experience Builder, Hub Sites, StoryMaps, Field Maps, and Survey123
• Ensure adherence to the organization’s GIS standards and best practices
• Mentor GIS team members at various experience levels
• Maintain high-quality assurance standards for deliverables
• Stay engaged with the GIS team and geospatial community to track emerging technologies and trends
• Adapt to changes in project scope, timelines, and budget, including occasional non-traditional hours
• Maintain safety standards in all working environments

Requirements

• Strong experience with desktop GIS platforms, especially ArcGIS Pro
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Online and mobile GIS platforms
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget
• Experience creating both static and interactive cartographic products
• Knowledge of Esri GIS applications and tools relevant to solution development
• Skills in mentoring and guiding team members
• Commitment to quality assurance and standards compliance
• Flexibility to adjust to evolving project requirements and work schedules

Pay

Pay ranges are provided in compliance with pay transparency laws where required. Final compensation depends on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain roles are eligible for bonuses. Part-time compensation is pro-rated based on agreed working hours.
