GIS Analyst

Join our team as a GIS Analyst and support KUB's Electric GIS program by developing solutions that improve field data collection, data quality, and operational efficiency. You'll serve as the primary GIS resource and help deliver accurate geospatial information that supports engineering, operations, and field personnel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online applications, maps, dashboards, and GIS services.
- Design GIS workflows that improve field data collection, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Lead KUB's drone imagery and LiDAR program, including planning, processing, quality assurance, and deliverables.
- Integrate field and remotely sensed data into enterprise GIS while maintaining data quality and integrity.
- Create maps, analyses, reports, and other geospatial products to support business decisions.
- Partner with engineering, operations, field staff, and external stakeholders to develop GIS solutions and improve processes.
- Provide GIS technical support and training as needed.
- Stay current with GIS, drone, and remote sensing technologies and recommend best practices.
Requirements
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work - exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and/or exceed those demands described above.
