GIS Analyst

About the role

The City of Renton is looking for a skilled and motivated GIS professional to join the Public Works team as GIS Analyst 1-3. In this role, you will work alongside a team of capable individuals to support the Public Works Departments GIS and Asset Management objectives and will be part of a group whose responsibilities include data management of utility and transportation sections, utilizing and innovating GIS applications, and assisting with short- and long-term asset management planning. The position will allow you the opportunity to advance your career as a GIS professional while making an impact on the City’s infrastructure and services, as well as being part of an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative environment.

Pay

Salary placement depends on the education, experience, and skill set of the incumbent.

• GIS Analyst 1: $92,724 – $112,920 annually
• GIS Analyst 2: $97,368 – $118,692 annually
• GIS Analyst 3: $107,448 – $130,896 annually

Schedule

The City of Renton supports workers performing in a hybrid capacity (partial telework/in-office) where job responsibilities can be performed remotely. This position may be eligible for a telework arrangement, up to 2 days remote, based on the operational needs of the City and specific Department. Regardless of job title or telework arrangement, City of Renton employees must reside in Washington State and within a reasonable distance to their worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
