Girls Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach
About the role
Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) is a Christ‑centered independent school serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade across four campuses in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Starting this coming school year, AACS will unite its middle and high school programs on its 85‑acre campus in Severn, Maryland, bringing students in grades 6‑12 together on one campus. This transition will strengthen alignment across academics, arts, and athletics while expanding opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and community. AACS partners with families and local churches to educate and disciple students in a Christ‑centered environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, spiritual formation, and excellence in every area of life. Athletics plays a vital role in that mission; the school believes sport is a powerful space for developing character, resilience, discipline, and leadership. All coaches must profess faith in Jesus Christ and be actively involved in a local church.
This position represents a unique opportunity to help shape the future of lacrosse at AACS. The Girls Varsity Head Coach and Boys Varsity Head Coach will work collaboratively to establish the culture, developmental standards, and long‑term vision for lacrosse across the school. Together, this leadership group will work to elevate soccer at AACS, building a program defined by excellent training environments, strong relationships with families, and a commitment to long‑term player development. The program vision includes elite training and long‑term player development, spiritual formation through sport, alignment across middle school and high school programs, and collaboration across coaches, families, and the broader school community. The school believes talent is a gift entrusted by God and aims to steward those gifts faithfully while developing young men and women
