Girls on the Run Program Coordinator - Part Time

About the role

The Girls on the Run (GOTR) Program Coordinator assists in developing, delivering, and administering quality GOTR programs for the community. Key responsibilities include managing volunteer and site operations, coordinating 5k events, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and deliver program opportunities for assigned GOTR program sites.
• Manage budget for assigned GOTR program sites.
• Develop and implement promotion plans to advertise program opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate all program activities for assigned GOTR program sites.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate volunteer coaches and site liaisons.
• Prepare reports and rosters using computer information.
• Develop and implement evaluation plans to assess program impact.
• Respond to questions and concerns from program participants and families.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designated staff person.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of previous work experience in program coordination or management, preferably related to youth programs.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience and/or team leadership.
• Current Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
• Child Abuse Prevention Training.
• Completion of relevant training within the first 30 days and ongoing maintenance thereafter.

Physical requirements

Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Frequently required to perform moderate physical activity, such as lifting and moving up to 10 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing, using stairs, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus to monitor property and activity. Ability to adapt to changing working conditions.
