Qualifications/Requirements Education: High School transcript or equivalent. Completed course in the care and prevention of athletic injuries required. Preference will be given to applicants with a Current Oklahoma teaching certificate. Specific Training/Skills Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Physical Requirements Exposure to the following situations may range from remote to frequent based on circumstances and factors that may not be predictable. Experience Previous coaching procedures in a school setting is desirable, but not required. Duties/Responsibilities And Essential Functions The following duties are representative of performance expectations. Coach the varsity team and coordinate the junior varsity team with the school, athletes, parents, and community.Responsible for checking equipment in and out, keeping a correct inventory, cleaning and storing of equipment.Knowledgeable of the rules and regulations that govern the sport and attend rule meetings. Responsible for local and state reports to include: eligibility reports, transportation requests, official reports, financial reports, semester reports, end of the year reports.
