Gilliland Plant Engineering Services Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and prioritize work assignments to maximize efficiency.
• Lead and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and maintenance systems.
• Cook up maintenance activities with production and leadership teams.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and lead root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and training requirements.
• Support IT systems, asset tracking, and plant engineering projects.
• Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and operational standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Associate degree in Microprocessors, Electrical Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance or engineering.
• 5+ years of electrical/controls troubleshooting experience (PLC, drives).

Working Conditions

• Must support a 24/7 manufacturing environment and respond to after-hours calls as needed.

Compensation

• $28.20 – $39.34 per hour (based on experience).
