Overview

The Gig Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) works in accordance with professional standards of care and adheres to the corporate philosophy of OSF HealthCare.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Works at OSF OnCall Urgent Care
• Controls own preferred shifts/locations
• No minimum number of hours required, limited to less than 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistency and quality of all services provided
• Maintain full and current patient medical records
• Exercise diligence in assisting the OSF CEO to keep costs to a minimum while maintaining high quality care
• Provide a personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients

Qualifications

• Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in Illinois or physician assistant services in Illinois
• Nurse Practitioners must have Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification from the National Certification Corporation
• Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
• Must be eligible for professional malpractice and liability coverage through OSF HealthCare

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrates alignment with patient preferences, goals, and needs
• Prior experience or fellowship as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care settings
