Gig Harbor Material Handler - 4am Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler who excels in a fast-paced, engaged environment. Our ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and takes pride in ensuring inventory is accurately received, stored, and distributed. This role requires a strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to keep warehouse operations running smoothly. This role will be based in our Gig Harbor Warehouse.

A Material Handler plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by handling a variety of tasks, including processing stock, picking and packing orders, shipping, and maintaining warehouse organization. This role requires constant hands-on tasks and attention to detail, as you'll be frequently walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, pushing/pulling, and occasionally using ladders to retrieve products. This role will work at a picking/packing station and alternate with voice pick.

Responsibilities

• Process stock and handle inventory accurately
• Pick and pack orders efficiently
• Manage shipping operations
• Maintain warehouse organization
• Perform repetitive movements including bending, reaching, and lifting
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Attention to detail in handling stock and fulfilling orders
• Solid verbal, written, and numerical communication and math skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Warehouse and forklift experience is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
• Performing repetitive movements including bending, reaching, and lifting
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Working in an environment that requires maintaining a consistent and often fast-paced workflow

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Full Time / 40 hours per week
Optional Overtime

Pay

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Annual Bonus: Discretionary year-end bonus
