About the role

The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in the dynamic team at our new store in Tucson, AZ. This position involves performing various selling and customer service activities, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Demonstrates product knowledge to customers.
• Replenishes product on shelves as required according to Merchandising guidelines.
• Maintains product expertise through ongoing training.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintains accurate pricing and signage.
• Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restocks merchandise as needed.
• Keeps work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Fulfills all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Provides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions through identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable about products and able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to both customers and colleagues.
• Capable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Proficient in operating a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Skills

• Calculating figures such as discounts and making change to customers.
• Communicating effectively with others to exchange information.
• Performing repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Operating machinery and power tools.
• Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly, and objects up to 100 pounds occasionally (with assistance).
• Working in tight and confined spaces.
• Working in noisy environments.
