About the role

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal cancers.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students (100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching required)
  • Care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service
  • Enrolling patients onto clinical trials

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology
