GI Medical Assistant
About the role
The Largest Independent Established Multi-Specialty Group in Central North Carolina is seeking a CMA/RMA to join their GI Team Full-Time.
Responsibilities
- Patient interviews
- Measuring vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
- Performing phlebotomy
- Administering injections
- Performing EKGs
- Recording information in patients' charts
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Working closely with Providers and fellow staff members to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction
Requirements
- One of the following certifications is required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire): CMA, RMA, NCMA, ABR-OE
- 1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, and Internal Medicine is preferred
- Multilingual is a Plus!
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in a healthcare setting
