GI-Endoscopy Technologist I (Non-Exempt)

About the role

Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patients experience. May prepare the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment, uphold patient safety standards, assist the physician and registered nurse, and perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. May assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program.

Responsibilities

• Participates in lower patient acuity cases AND/OR high-level disinfection.
• Completes one basic competency - either Endoscopy Tech in Scope room competency OR Endoscopy Tech in Procedure Competency.

Requirements

• Minimum 0-1 year of experience.
• Outpatient Centers and Rural Locations, Non-24-hour opportunity location (primarily an ASC or rural locale).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
