GI-Endoscopy Tech I - Days - FT

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patients experience.
• As directed, may be preparing the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment, uphold patient safety standards and assist the physician and registered nurse.
• Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program.
• These duties may range from limited to overly complex.
• All duties are performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Education

High School Diploma or GED are required.

Certifications

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days.

Qualifications

This position has a career ladder. Based on direct experience or your desire to complete the education and competencies you can advance quickly.
