German - Generalist Voice Actor

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for skilled German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train the next generation of voice AI systems to sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced voice talent. No AI background needed — just a commanding German voice, professional delivery, and a sharp ear for quality.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated German speech for naturalness, accuracy, rhythm, and expressiveness
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice quality
• Review and refine scripts to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or comparable audio performance work
• Fully fluent in spoken German with a natural, confident delivery
• Equipped with professional recording gear and access to a quiet, controlled recording space
• Able to consistently deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances
• Naturally detail-oriented when it comes to pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall vocal clarity
• No AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple voice styles or genres — commercial, character, narration, broadcast
• Familiarity with audio editing or DAW software
• Awareness of regional German dialects or accent variations
• Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts
