German - Generalist Voice Actor

About the Role

We're looking for skilled German voice actors and voice-over professionals to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train the next generation of advanced AI systems to sound truly human.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated German speech for naturalness, accuracy, and expressiveness
• Provide structured, constructive feedback to improve synthesized voice quality
• Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in spoken German
• Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio-focused work
• Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances consistently
• Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall audio clarity
• Detail-oriented and methodical when evaluating speech quality
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with broadcast, commercial, or character voice work
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or digital audio workstations (DAWs)
• Knowledge of regional German dialects or accent variation
• Background in linguistics, communications, or media production
