German - Generalist Voice Actor

About the Role

We're looking for professional German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train the next generation of AI systems to sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, high-fidelity German voice performances using provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, expressiveness, and overall quality
• Provide structured, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice output
• Review and adjust scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Full fluency in spoken German — native or near-native level
• Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio-focused work
• Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver consistently engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances
• Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to evaluation

Nice to Have

• Experience in broadcast, podcasting, e-learning narration, or commercial voice work
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or recording workflows
• Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts
• Awareness of regional German speech patterns and dialectal variation
