How you’ll make an impact in this role

Ascension Living PACE Michigan is seeking a Full Time Geriatrics Physician at its Flint Michigan Clinic. This role involves working with an established team of 2 other physicians and 3 AppsCall staff in a 1:6 practice setting. The majority of time will be spent in the outpatient clinic, but occasional hospital rounds and home visits may be necessary.

The physician will work within a nonprofit health system and must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with a Geriatrics fellowship preferred. They must also be eligible for state medical license and DEA registration.

The PACE program coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services to older individuals to help them continue living in the community. Eligibility includes being aged 55 years or older, living in a PACE provider's service area, certified by the state as needing nursing home level care, and able to live safely in the community with PACE services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
