Geriatrics & Palliative (McNair Outpatient Clinic) - (Associate Professor)

Job Duties

• Provide medical care to adults in the outpatient care setting.
• Serve as a mentor and supervisor for residents, medical students, and other learners as needed.
• Coordinate with inpatient care teams for safe discharge of patients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement and/or research projects.
• Stay current with continuing medical education as required by the college and specialty.
• Maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Be familiar with and proficient in using Epic electronic medical records to document patient encounters.
• Ensure timely completion of all documentation to facilitate smooth billing and administrative processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: MD, DO; Board Certified or board eligible.
• Licensure: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
