Geriatric Unit Programs Director - PAS II-Unit Administrator

About the role

To direct and develop the clinical and administrative operations of Geriatric Services (Ward E – Intermediate Care and Ward F – Acute Treatment) according to certification/accreditation guidelines. All services are provided according to the needs and preferences of adult geriatric individuals, taking into account age and diagnoses-specific issues. This position is also responsible for coordinating the performance improvement services of the Program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field required
• Supervisory experience required
• Experience administering aspects of a long-range behavioral healthcare program required
• Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator by Virginia Department of Health Professions required

Additional Considerations

• Strongly prefer advanced or master's degree in behavioral health field
• Strongly prefer experience administrating or supervising inpatient mental health program or major component of program

Pay

Salary Range: $90,934/yr. to $125,489/yr. Pay Band: 5
