About the role
Join our wonderful team as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Alice Manor.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to supervising nurse.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of resident living areas.
- Participate in scheduled shift meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
- Previous Experience as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) preferred.
- Certified Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) LP certification required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
