About the role
Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Geriatrician to join their established practice in Urbana, Illinois. The opportunity includes fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine, joining a team of five Geriatricians, nine APPs, and full-time nursing staff. The role involves working with 50 hospitalists and a dedicated geriatric hospitalist for hospital admissions. Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage and ambulatory clinic services, with a planned clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Physicians will also provide service in sub-acute, rehabilitation, and short-stay environments. There is an opportunity for medical directorship and long-term care at a third nursing home in the area.

Requirements
Fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine is required. No visit or staffing requirements for assisted-care facilities, home visits, hospice, or palliative care.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $310,000 - $315,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
Schedule
Part-time positions available. The primary responsibilities include a planned clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with on-call service for nursing home patients during the week and one in twelve weekday/weekend coverage for ambulatory clinic patients.
