About the Role
Provides direct patient care involving assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development activities.
Responsibilities
- Develops and documents individualized care plans with goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Communicates care plans effectively across the continuum of care.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid RN license.
- No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.
Skills
