Geothermal Inspector

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in the field inspections related to the installation of geothermal systems primarily vertical and horizontal closed loop systems.
• Sampling of grout may be required.
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved drawings and submittals.
• Produce daily written field reports.

Required Attributes

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma
• International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) Inspector Certification
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and with others
• 3+ years of professional experience working in Construction Materials and/or Lab Testing
• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Other construction related certifications including but not limited to ACI, PCI, AWS, and ICC
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and clients
• Good organizational skills
• Able to work efficiently with precision and accuracy
• Meet deadlines
• Self starter
• Able to think independently and direct other people
