Geotechnical Skilled Laborer/Shotcrete Technician
Education Requirement
A high school diploma or GED is preferred with basic reading and writing skills.
About the role
We are currently looking for Skilled Laborers to join our Geotechnical Group across PA and other locations throughout the Mid Atlantic. Work is performed outdoors year round. Employees will be exposed to wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Carry, load, or unload materials
- Dig with picks, shovels, air hammers, jack hammers or other construction related equipment as required
- Arrive to project site on-time and participate in job discussions and daily safety meetings
- Lift and place lagging boards onto shoring walls
- Work with and maintain construction related equipment when needed (grout machines, drilling machines, compressors)
- Work with hoses for all types of machines on the job site
- Assist with shotcrete operations
- Structural welding on construction sites
- Responsible for safety of self and others
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Reliable transportation and Valid Drivers License is required
- Construction experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Special Skills
- Welding exp or certification required
- Drill rig experience/knowledge preferred
Travel
Willing to travel: PA, DE, and MD
Pay
$20.00/hr- $25.00/hr (Based on experience)
