Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage geotechnical program plans, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to align and integrate project activities.
  • Monitor program progress and performance, identifying and addressing risks and technical challenges.
  • Communicate program status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company QA/QC protocols, policies, and industry standards.
  • Facilitate program meetings, technical reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage program resources including staff, budgets, and field/lab operations.
  • Conduct program evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead geotechnical investigations, engineering analysis, and client-facing technical solutions.
  • Drive business development, including client relationships and pursuit support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering (graduate degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and diverse technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.

Pay

The minimum salary for this position is $135,000 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications). Final offer depends on location, skills, and certifications.
