Geotechnical Principal
Primary responsibilities
- Providing technical expertise and supporting Geotechnical staff both within a branch and within a region
- Hosting or attending project meetings with clients and/or ECS staff to help provide technical solutions as requested
- Mentoring Associate Principals
- Participating in the review committee for candidates who seek Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical)
Office and Regional Level Duties
- Overseeing projects
- Performing technical report reviews
- Preparing and reviewing proposals
- Managing the department and P&L
- Assisting with business development and marketing services
- Assisting hiring managers in making staffing decisions
- Leading and coaching junior staff members
Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar
- 12 years of related experience
- Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each of the state(s) in which you work
- Valid driver’s license if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary
Pay and Benefits
The expected pay range for this role and location is $105,000 - $145,000/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
