Position Overview: Geotechnical Engineer
- Help senior engineers to plan field Geotechnical engineering investigations
- Oversee geotechnical drilling crews
- Manage Geotechnical Engineering Technicians in the field and in the laboratory
- Conduct site reconnaissance, lay out boring locations, prepare one-call tickets and field instructions
- Conduct field investigation, such as logging test boreholes and collecting soil samples
- Analyze soil properties and assess site conditions
- Ensure testing procedures align with project requirements, specs and IGE's company policies and procedures
- Monitor, test, and document earth construction activities such as excavation, grading, and trenching
- Monitor, test, and document foundation construction such as pile installation
- Write Geotechnical Engineering reports
Position Requirements: Geotechnical Engineer
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, or related Engineering degree (M.S. preferred)
- Strong communication skills with colleagues, contractors, and clients
- Be a self-starter and take pride in your work
- Able to comfortably lift 60 lb and work outdoors in a variety of conditions

Position Overview: Driller
- Drive and operate mobile Geotechnical drill rigs
- Perform geotechnical drilling such as solid stem auger, rock coring, direct push, etc.
- Maintain drill rigs and support vehicles for optimal functionality
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members and project managers
- Meticulously complete field documentation
Position Requirements: Driller
- Knowledge of drill rigs and support vehicles maintenance requirements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with engineers and field crews
- Respect for your work and colleagues
- Receptive to constructive feedback
- Valid driver's license with a clean record (CDL preferred)
- 1+ years experience operating and maintaining drilling equipment
- Proficiency in auger and casing drilling methods
- Able to lift 75 lb

Position Overview: Laboratory Technician
- Collaborate with project engineers and other technicians
- Perform field and laboratory tests for concrete and soil
- Prepare and submit data and reports
- Monitor earth construction activities
- Assist with drill rig operation in the field
Position Requirements: Laboratory Technician
- Strong organizational skills
- Respect for IGE's strict quality standards
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours
- Valid driver's license and clean record
- Able to lift 50 lb
